The Pasiades Painter , also painter of the Pasiades-Alabastra , was a Greek vase painter who worked towards the end of the 6th century BC. Chr. In Athens worked.

The Pasiades painter decorated two alabastras signed by the potter and vase painter Pasiades , and four other alabastras are ascribed to him. According to John D. Beazley, all pieces belong to the group of Paidikos-Alabastra . Reinhard Lullies at least doubts the assignment of one of the alabastras. His name has not been passed down, which is why Hans Eberhard Angermeier, on the basis of preliminary work by Beazley, among others, recognized and defined his artistic handwriting within the group of Paidikos Alabastra and distinguish it with an emergency name that refers to the Pasiades signatures has made. In his white-ground works, the Pasiades painter is strongly reminiscent of the red-figure Euergides painter , which is why he is included in the circle of the Euergides painter , but is to be rated even higher in quality.
