Triptolemus painter
The ancient artist, designated by the emergency name Triptolemos painter , was a vase painter of the red-figure style from Athens , no longer known by name , where he worked between 490 BC. BC and 470 BC Chr. Worked.
He began in the workshop of Euphronios , where he learned from Duris . Later he also works for the potters Brygos , Hieron , Charinos and Python . At first his style was archisic , later his work was of a secondary nature. His repertoire, on the other hand, is broad and ranges from the Apaturia procession and scenes from Thebes to the eponymous trip of the Triptolemos .
