The Gornera is a 5.5 kilometer long torrent in the Visp district of the canton of Valais . It is one of the source streams of the Mattervispa .
geography
The Gornera (Gornerbach) arises as an outflow from the Gorner Glacier . Later the Gornera flows together with the Furggbach . Above Zermatt , the Gornera joins the Zmuttbach to form the Matter Vispa .
