geography

Most of the stream is fed by the Zmutt Glacier, which is located near the Italian border , and the Arbenbach flows into it early on .

About four kilometers below it is dammed shortly before the Zmutt district , which belongs to Zermatt . After three more kilometers, it joins the Gornera to form Matter Vispa . The Findelbach joins 200 meters further downstream into the young Matter Vispa.
