Gottfried von Freier

Gottfried von Freier (born October 1, 1869 in Hoppenrade , † March 19, 1910 in Carlsruhe ) was a German court official.

Life

Gottfried von Freier was born as the son of the gentleman on Hoppenrade Karl von Freier and Hedwig born from Wilamowitz-Möllendorff . After visiting the convent school in Roßleben he studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn and the Silesian Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Breslau law . In 1891 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After graduating, he was initially a district judge. Von Freier was the Royal Württemberg Chamberlain and Castle Captain of Carlsruhe in Upper Silesia . He was a reserve officer of the Brandenburg Dragener Regiment No. 2. He remained unmarried.

His brother was the Oberlandforstmeister Werner von Freier .
