Gotthard Wölzl

Gotthard Wölzl (born June 5, 1851 in Munich ; † February 28, 1932 there ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Wölzl attended the Wilhelmsgymnasium in Munich (Abitur 1870) and the University of Munich . In 1877 he passed the state examination, in 1878 he became a parliamentary stenographer. From 1879 to 1882 he was a lawyer, until 1890 a district judge and from 1891 a legally qualified magistrate of the city of Munich. He was a member of the district council of Upper Bavaria and the district council of Miesbach . He was also chairman of non-profit associations such as the Association for People's Hygiene in Munich and the Central Office for Infant Care . He was a Knight of the Order of Merit of St. Michael IV class .

From 1907 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Upper Bavaria 1 Munich I ( Altstadt , Lehel , Maxvorstadt ) and the National Liberal Party .

The son Robert Wölzl (1882-1966) had been regional court director at the regional court Munich I since 1936 (in this capacity he was presiding judge at the special court in Munich and thus head of the trial against Father Rupert Mayer ).
