Gotthelf Adolph Graf von Hoym (born October 24, 1731 in Dresden , † April 22, 1783 in Droy says ) was a politician from the Electorate of Saxony .

Life

He was the son of Count Ludwig Gebhard von Hoym and his wife, born Countess von Werthern . As the master of Gleina and Thallwitz , he later inherited Droyssig and Guteborn and embarked on the career typical of his ancestors at the Saxon court. He became a Privy Councilor and later a Minister Plenipotentiary.

As the last male representative of the Droyßiger and the entire Saxon line of the House of Hoym , he died without a male heir. From his marriage to Countess Sophie Auguste zu Stolberg-Roßla (1754–1776) in Gera on November 27, 1769 , the sole heiress was the sole heir, Louise Henriette (* 1772), who owned the ruling Count Heinrich LI. Reuss zu Ebersdorf married and died as the last representative of her family branch in 1832.
