Gottlieb Fischer (born March 15, 1867 in Altenburg , † July 5, 1962 in Minusio ) was a Swiss playwright .

Life

Gottlieb Fischer was born on March 15, 1867 as the son of the teacher Gottlieb Fischer senior. born in Altenburg. Like his father, he trained as a teacher and initially worked in this profession in Fahrwangen , from 1891 in Kaiserstuhl and finally from 1904 in Aarau .

Gottlieb Fischer, who married Bertha (née Schmied) in 1893, died at the age of 95 in Minusio in the canton of Ticino .

Act

Fischer made his name as an author of historical dramas and comedies . In 1952, in view of the 150th anniversary of the canton of Aargau, he submitted the Niklaus Leuenberger Festival , which was not taken into account but was performed in memory of the Peasants' War in Wohlenschwil .
