Gottlieb Schwemmer
Gottlieb Schwemmer was mayor of Freising for a short time in 1933 .
Schwemmer, who came from near Nuremberg , had been working at the Freising Landbauamt since 1923. After the mayor of Freising, Stephan Bierner, was forced to resign, the National Socialists appointed Schwemmer as the new mayor. Due to a transfer to the Landbauamt Ansbach in early July 1933, he had to give up the office again after about two months.
