Franz Krumbach

Franz Paul Krumbach (born September 23, 1822 in Freising ; † December 19, 1876 ​​there ) was a Bavarian lawyer and politician.

Life

Krumbach had studied theology, philosophy and law and was the first legally qualified mayor of Freising from 1853 to 1869 . In 1862 Freising became a district-independent (today's term: district-free) city. During his tenure, u. a. the district of Lerchenfeld expanded.

From 1859 to 1869 he was a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Bavarian State Parliament . When he left the office of mayor, he was made the first honorary citizen of Freising on May 8, 1869 .
