Goubonne (also written Goubon in English texts ) is an oasis in northern Chad in the Tibesti region , about 85 km east-northeast of Zouar . Goubonne is the seat of one of the three sub-prefectures of the Chadian department of West Tibesti (Tibesti Ouest), next to Wour and Zouar, which is also the capital of the department.
