Raima ( Arabic ريمة, DMG Raima ) is one of the 21 governorates of Yemen . It is located about 200 km west of the Yemeni capital Sanaa .
Raima has an area of 2,442 km². The inhabitants of this governorate represent 2.00% of the total population of Yemen, or about 483,196 inhabitants. The population density per km² is 197.9 inhabitants.
