Grégory Beron (born July 31, 1989 in Amiens ) is a French ice hockey player who has been playing for Hockey sur glace Dunkerque in the French division 1 , the second highest division in the country, since December 2017 .

Career

Beron Beron began his career with the Gothiques d'Amiens from his hometown, for whom he played in the Ligue Magnus from 2007 to 2013 . He was elected to the league's all-star team in 2010. After one season each with league rivals HC Morzine-Avoriaz and Image Club d'Épinal , he returned to Amiens in 2015 and played for his home club for two more years. After he hadn't found a new club after his contract expired in the summer of 2017, he has been under contract with Hockey sur glace Dunkerque in the French division 1 , the second highest division in the country, since December 2017 .

International

With the French U18 selection, Beron took part in the 2007 World Cup in Division I. He then played with the French juniors in the 2008 and 2009 also in Division I.

After making his debut in the men's national team in the 2011/12 season , he played his first major tournament at the 2016 World Cup . He also worked for France in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 .
