The Grünbach is an approximately 0.5 kilometer long right, eastern tributary of the Aubach . There is the legend of the little green man who jumps on the back of a hiker and makes it difficult for him to climb the valley.

A feeder to the Rothaarsteig , a long-distance hiking trail, runs through the Grünbachtal.
