Erwin Walter
Erwin Walter (born September 14, 1912 in Berlin ; † February 13, 1998 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ).
Erwin Walter attended elementary school and did an apprenticeship as a toolmaker . He joined the Windthorstbund in 1928 and passed his journeyman's examination . After visiting a technical center , he worked as a designer . He was drafted into the Wehrmacht .
After the Second World War , Walter became a toolmaker and designer again in 1945 and joined the CDU the following year. In the Berlin election in 1950 he was elected to the District Assembly (BVV) in the Kreuzberg district. In the 1958 election he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, which he initially belonged to until 1967. After a legislative period in BVV Kreuzberg, he was re-elected to the House of Representatives in 1971 and finally left parliament in 1975.
