The Aubach rises near the Driedorf district of Waldaubach below the Fuchskaute , at 657.3  m above sea level. NHN the highest elevation in the Westerwald. In addition to Waldaubach, it also flows through the town of Langenaubach and flows into the Dill in Haiger .
