The Grünseespitze ( Slovak rohy Baranie , polish Baranie Rogi , Hungarian Zöld-TAVI Csúcs ) is a bimodal mountain in the Slovak Tatras along a southeastern Seitengrats of the main ridge of the Tatras to Lomnitzer tip leads. The summit offers a beautiful view of the Small Kohlbach Valley ( Malá Studená dolina ) and the basin of the Kesmark Green Lake. The side ridge branches off from the neighboring Grünseewarte ( Vyšná Barania strážnica ) from the main ridge of the High Tatras.
Characteristic is the huge rubble plateau hourly below the summit, which is sometimes referred to as the Téry-Galerie ( Barania galéria ). To the northeast, the Grünseespitze rises above the Great Papiru Valley ( Veľká Zmrzlá dolina ), which leads down to the valley of the Kesmarker Green Lake ( Dolina Zeleného plesa ). In the south of the Grünseespitze there is the five-lake basin ( Dolina Pięciu Stawów Spiskich ) with the Téry-Seelein ( Baranie pliesko ) directly below the summit of the Grünseespitze. In the north the Papirustalspitze ( Čierny štít ).
Further in the side ridge are the Green Sea Bastion ( Barania bašta ), the Monk's Saddle ( Baranie mníšik ), the Green Sea Monk ( Baraní mních ), and the Téry-Scharte ( Baranie sedlo ). Behind the Téry-Scharte there is the ridge with the peaks Spišský štít , 2481 m), Téry-Spitze ( Malý Pyšný štít , 2590 m), Swallow Tower ( Pyšný štít , 2623 m), Bachleda-Scharte ( Bachledova štrbina ) and finally the Lomnitzer tip ( Lomnický stit , 2632 m) away.
