Graça is 13 km southwest of the district town of Pedrógão Grande, and 72 km east of the district capital Leiria .
history
Nothing precise is known about the origins of the place. Theses about the foundation during the Roman occupation exist as well as those that consider a foundation by the Moors during the Arab rule to be likely. Graça became an independent municipality between 1581 and 1592.
