County Roucy
The French county of Roucy was located around the place of the same name in what is now the Aisne department in Picardy . It originated in the middle of the 10th century. In 1023 the counts bought the rights to the county of Reims and thus became vassals of the archbishops of Reims . In 1302 the County of Braine came into their possession by inheritance .
