Green Wing is the title of a British comedy series produced for Channel 4 in the UK from 2004 to 2006 . In Germany, the series ran from January 16, 2007 to May 1, 2007 on Comedy Central . It was removed from the program a few episodes after the start of the second and final season. Set in a city hospital ( East Hampton Hospital Trust ), Green Wing features quirky characters and ideas from the creators of Smack the Pony .
Dr. Caroline Todd starts working at East Hampton Hospital and is immediately drawn into the daily madness there. Starting with the over-the-top HR manager Joanna Clore, who worked with radiologist Dr. Alan Statham, as they both maintain a secret relationship, about the two brisk young doctors Dr. Macartney, the nice doctor who is never at a loss for a saying, right up to Dr. Guy Secretan who is the opposite of Mac. In addition, the wacky world is still populated by Sue White, a kind of contact person for the employees who u. a. Organized her clothes from the hospital's dead clothes chest, is unhappy in love with Mac and is therefore terribly jealous of Caroline Todd. Then there is Dr. Martin Dear, the clumsy one who is related to one of the main characters, Boyce, who is Dr. Drives Statham insane, and Dr. Angela Hunter, the perfect pediatrician. The numerous time-lapse and slow-motion shots are characteristic. In the UK, both seasons of the series and a 90-minute special are now available on DVD.
