Stephen Mangan (born May 16, 1968 in London ) is a British actor .

life and career

Stephen Mangan was born to Irish parents in Winchmore Hill ( District Enfield born) in North London. He has two sisters. Manganese has a Bachelor of Arts in Law of Gonville and Caius College of the University of Cambridge . He also attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).

After graduating from RADA, Mangan worked in theaters . He was also featured in several commercials . Mangan began his acting career in season three of Down by the River . However, he had his breakthrough in 2000 as Dr. Crane in Billy Elliot - I Will Dance and 2001 in Adrian Mole : The Cappuccino Years . Between 2004 and 2006 he also worked on the television series Green Wing . In 2005 he was at Bromwell High with the party. There were also commercials for Nescafé . In 2008 he played in the miniseries Never Better and in 2009 in Free Agents - Zweisam einsam . Since 2011, he has appeared in the series Episodes, produced for the US broadcaster Showtime and the British broadcaster BBC Two , alongside Matt LeBlanc and Tamsin Greig , who has also worked on Green Wing .

Stephen Mangan is married to Louise Delamere and has two sons with her.
