Greenleaf Music

Greenleaf Music is an independent jazz - music label , which the US trumpeter and composer Dave Douglas belongs.

The independent label was founded in 2003 by Douglas and his friend Mike Friedman, who had previously worked for Premonition Records for five years. Greenleaf Music has released numerous albums by Douglas himself since 2005 as well as by Donny McCaslin , Nicole Mitchell , Harrison Bankhead , Hamid Drake , Kneebody , Linda Oh , Rudy Royston and Michael Bates. The record label has offices in Chicago and New York City and is sold worldwide.
