Greg Joseph (* 4. August 1994 in Johannesburg ) is a from South Africa originating American football poker players. He plays in the position of kicker for the Tennessee Titans in the National Football League (NFL).
Life
Greg Joseph moved to the United States with his parents when he was seven years old. The family settled in Boca Raton ( Florida down). He later attended the American Heritage School in Delray Beach .
Athletic career
After playing football at the American Heritage School for only one year, he joined the college football team after moving to Florida Atlantic University , where he served as a red shirt in his freshman year . He then played for the Florida Atlantic Owls for four years and in his senior year there he set a record as the player with the most field goals in team history.
After Joseph was not included in the 2018 NFL Draft , the Miami Dolphins signed him . Before the start of the 2018 NFL season , he turned his attempts into field goals in all preparatory games, but ultimately lost out to Jason Sanders in casting the final squad .
After the second game day of the season, Joseph was signed by the Cleveland Browns . They had previously separated from their kicker Zane Gonzalez , who had given a total of four attempts for additional points or field goals in the 18:21 defeat at the New Orleans Saints .
In his first game against the New York Jets on September 20, 2018, Joseph scored two field goals. He had a share in the 21:17 win of the Browns, who had not won an NFL game for 21 months.
In the following season, Joseph was fired in the course of the final squad reduction to 53 players and a little later, on November 25, 2019, he was committed to the Practice Squad of the Carolina Panthers . On December 18, 2019, he replaced the injured Ryan Succop as a kicker with the Tennessee Titans.
