Gregers Kristian von Haxthausen

Gregers Kristian von Haxthausen zu Tienhausen, Hemsen and Nienfeld (born February 1, 1732 in Copenhagen ; † July 10, 1802 there ) was a Danish nobleman and minister.

Life

From 1787 to 1790 Count Haxthausen was bailiff of Zealand and in this capacity at the same time bailiff of the Faroe Islands with his seat in Copenhagen .

He is the son of Christian Frederik von Haxthausen (1690–1740) and Margrethe Hedevig Juel (1702–1752). On March 1, 1758 he married Louise Charlotte von der Osten (1735–1766). After her untimely death, he married Anna Elisabeth Juul von Ravnholt (1750–1813) on September 18, 1767. Together they had the son Ove Christian von Haxthausen (1777-1842), who later became a major general and chief court marshal.
