Gregor Dall

Gregor Dall (born August 19, 1902 in Laxten ; † April 5, 1966 there ) was a German farmer and politician ( center , CDU ).

Life and work

Dall attended commercial school and then completed practical training in agriculture on goods in Hanover and Westphalia . He later worked as a farmer in Laxten and took over his parents' farm after his father's death in 1935.

politics

Dall joined the Center Party. As a local farmer's leader, he represented the Reichsnährstand . He became mayor of the municipality of Laxten in 1942 and moved to the district council in Lingen (Ems) in 1946 after the end of the Second World War . He also entered the Lower Saxony state parliament for the first and second electoral periods from April 20, 1947 to May 5, 1955. There he was from April 20, 1947 to October 25, 1950 initially deputy chairman and then from October 26, 1950 to April 30, 1951 chairman of the Center Group. From November 7, 1947 to February 10, 1949 he was chairman of the Committee on Health Care.

On December 8, 1954, he switched to the CDU, having been a member of the Mitte parliamentary group since October 8, 1953.

From November 6, 1957, when he replaced the resigned MP Karl Hackethal , until 1963 he was again a member of the state parliament in Lower Saxony in the 3rd to 4th electoral term until May 5, 1963.
