The Greitspitze (also Greitspitz ) (2,871 m; also 2,872 m) is a mountain in the Samnaun group and lies on the border between Austria and Switzerland . It is located between Samnaun and Ischgl in Paznaun, in the middle of the Silvretta Arena ski area .
The summit cross is not located directly on the top, but on the Austrian side on a ledge along the Long Wall , the west ridge of the Greitspitz at ~ 2825 m. At the summit (not shown here) there are mountain stations for ski lifts.
