Achim Greser (born May 20, 1961 in Lohr am Main ) and Heribert Lenz (born February 26, 1958 in Schweinfurt ) are a German cartoonist duo . You regularly draw for the Titanic , the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the Stern .

Their common inclination towards the tradition of the New Frankfurt School prompted them to make drawings together while studying graphics in Würzburg . Since 1986 and 1988 they have been working as permanent members of the editorial team at the satirical magazine Titanic , among other things they created the figure of Genschman . They have been drawing regularly for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung since 1996 and for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung since it was founded, but they can also be found in the left-wing daily Junge Welt . Their motto is: Every war has its victims, the same goes for good jokes.

Both live and work in Aschaffenburg. For some time, advertisements appeared regularly in the Titanic under the heading Partner Titanic , pleading for the election of Heribert Lenz as mayor of the city of Aschaffenburg .

With their cartoon Üzrüms Alpenglück they caused a diplomatic scandal with Turkey in 2014.

Achim Greser is a member of the German Academy for Football Culture .
