The Large overhang is at Frohnleiten located half cave and is in 480 m above sea level. A. im Kugelstein north of the main town of Deutschfeistritz and southwest of Badl , Styria in Austria .

The large overhang is located in the western part of the northern slope of the globular stone, a little southeast of the layer boundary cave and the armor cave at the foot of a rock face. The entrance is clearly visible.
description
The large overhang, around 32 meters long, is a semi-cave . The entrance to the half-cave is 31.9 meters wide and 6 to 7 meters high. The cave reaches about 8 meters into the rock face on average.
The cave floor is covered with sandy loam .
