The Groupe Alpin Luxembourgeois (GAL), ( German  Luxembourg Alpine Group ), is a climbing and trekking club in Luxembourg . The association was founded in 1955.

history

The association is a founding member of the Luxembourg Climbing and Alpinism Association (FLERA), through which it is a UIAA member , and it participates in the international reciprocal right to huts .

The current president is Steve Schiltz , his predecessor was Guy Thewes .

Since the 1970s, the GAL has been making day trips of 33 to 70 km in preparation for mountain tours.
