The Hohenzollern mine is a former iron mine in the Bensberg ore district in the Gronau district of Bergisch Gladbach and in the Dellbrück district of Cologne . Due to a Mutungssgesuchs called "Me-Not" of 14 November 1854 was carried out ceremony of the mining area on October 5, 1856 the name Hohenzollern on Eisenstein. The Hohenzollern mine stretched from Duckterath via Schlodderdich to Strunden. Behind the last house on Mülheimer Straße in the direction of Cologne-Dellbrück , a hiking trail goes south-west into the Thielenbruch . After about 100 m you come to a crossroads.
