Group masturbation

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As a circle jerk (rarely Gruppenmasturbieren , group masturbation ; veraltend Gruppenonanie or Gruppenonanieren ; colloquially Gruppenwichsen , Kreiswichsen ) refers to a sexual practice in which a group forms a circle of mostly males and themselves or mutually masturbating .

In English, this form of sexual satisfaction in a group is called group masturbation , more rarely group onanism . The colloquial term circle jerk ("Kreiswichsen") is also used in a figurative sense for a boring or time-wasting meeting or other event ("boring or time-wasting meeting or other event").

Group masturbation occurs more frequently during puberty ( petting ) but also in late adulthood, with more boys and men than girls and women practicing group masturbation; According to the results of the study, up to a third of all men have masturbated with someone of the same sex.

description

Group masturbation can take place both as a form of masturbation in the presence of others and as mutual satisfaction with the participants present. The goal is usually to induce ejaculation in yourself or your partner by touching the penis (as quickly as possible) . Pre-pubescent boys predominantly experience dry orgasms . Just watching the participants masturbate is also a form of group masturbation. The sexual arousal is caused by the presence and watching of the other. With gay or bisexual men, mutual masturbation can also serve as foreplay .

Group masturbation is often practiced as a kind of competition by adolescents and young people. However, the frequency of this occurrence has so far hardly been researched in empirical science.

Group masturbation in literature and film

Günter Grass describes scenes of group masturbation in his novella Katz und Maus . In the story, the clique of boys rests on the deck of the minesweeper, whereupon some, especially Winter and Esch, begin to masturbate and are watched by the girl Tulla Pokriefke, who is aroused by it and repeatedly asks individual boys to masturbate . The main character Mahlke, however, does not take part in the event, while [all] of those occupations already documented in the Bible [pursue] alone or - as it says in the confessional mirror - in groups . At one point, Tulla Mahlke explicitly asks to masturbate, who soon complies with the request:

“A few short movements from the right wrist, and his tail was so bulky that the glans grew out of the shadow of the compass house and got sun. Only when we all formed a semicircle did Mahlke's stand-up man stretch again in the shade. [...] Schilling, who had the longest strap of all of us, had to take his out, bring it to a stop and hold it next to it: Firstly, Mahlkes was a size bigger, secondly, a matchbox longer and, thirdly, looked much more adult, dangerous, more adorable. He had shown it to us again and immediately showed it to us again by luring something - as we called it - off the palm twice in a row. "

- Günter Grass : Cat and Mouse

Sigmund Freud already described group masturbation as the transformation of the direct genital libido into sublimated homosexual libido . He saw their value in preserving social cohesion to the exclusion of women.

The American sex educator Betty Dodson began organizing body sex workshops in 1973 for women who wanted to learn more about their own sexuality. Small groups of women met weekly in their living room, undressed, sat in a circle, discussed, showed their genitals and masturbated in front of each other, including with a vibrator . It should help women get rid of sexual inhibitions and feelings of guilt. At least once she also organized a similar workshop for men.

In the film Crazy from 2000, the protagonist Benjamin is invited by his new boarding school friends to masturbate together over a cookie ("Kekswichsen") and loses because he squints his eyes while ejaculating and not the cookie with his sperm in the middle meets.

In Spring Awakening by Frank Wedekind a circle jerk is demonstrated. In the fourth scene of the third act, while standing in the corridor of a correctional institution , young men try to hit a twenty pfennig piece with their ejaculate on the floor. The winner can take the coin.
