Grzegorz Gilewski

Grzegorz Gilewski (born February 24, 1973 in Radom ) is a Polish football referee who whistles in the Polish first division and is also a FIFA referee.

Gilewski made his international debut on October 16, 2002 in the European Championship qualifier between Iceland and Lithuania . In 2004, he whistled the host's game against Portugal at the U-21 European Championship in Germany . In September 2005 he was in action in the friendly match between the German national team and South Africa .

Gilewski has directed several UEFA Cup games and has played four times in the Champions League : in the matches between Arsenal London and FC Thun (2005), Spartak Moscow and FC Bayern Munich (2006) and between Rosenborg Trondheim and FC Schalke 04 and FC Chelsea versus Valencia CF (both 2007).

At the European Football Championship in 2008 he was the fourth official in action.
