Grzegorz Kielsa (* 26. May 1979 in Białystok ) is a former Polish boxer in the heavyweight division . He took part in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney .

Kiełsa lived in Łapy until 1999 , where he graduated from a technical college. He is a graduate of Białystok Technical University ( business administration ). When you start boxing career, he went to Canada .

Amateur career

Kiełsa started as an amateur for Hetman Białystok and won three Polish men's championships for this club from 2000-2003. His first coach was Ryszard Dargiewicz .

Kiełsa represented Poland at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney ( Australia ). He lost to Muchtarchan Dildäbekow from Kazakhstan in his first fight.

Participant in the European Championship in Tampere (2000), where he lost his first game and was eliminated from the tournament. The two-time participant in the World Boxing Championships in Belfast (2001) and Bangkok (2003) lost in the quarter-finals at these events to take a place in the tournament 5-8.

His match record was 103 fights, 81 wins, 2 draws and 20 losses.

Professional career

In 2006 he finally turned pro. Kiełsa lives and trains in Montreal .
