Gschaid is a part of the market Triftern in the Lower Bavarian district of Rottal-Inn .

The hamlet of Gschaid is located in the Isar-Inn hill country about three kilometers southeast of Triftern.
history
Gschaid belonged to the Triftern chairmanship and was subordinate to the Reichenberg nursing court . After the community was formed, it became part of the Wiesing community, which belonged to the Pfarrkirchen district office and, after being renamed districts in 1939, to the Pfarrkirchen district . With the incorporation of the Wiesing community into the Triftern market on January 1, 1971, Gschaid also joined Triftern.
Attractions
- Filial church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus. The neo-baroque building was erected in 1928 as a school church. The altar contains a painting by the priest and painter Dr. Johannes Kappel.
