The lawyer Vikram does not believe in God and is angry about the spiritual fuss of his wife Kavita. She has been taking special care of him since the birth of her son Guddu because a priest said he would die prematurely. But nothing looks like it for the time being and as a teenager Guddu is an energy bolt and the star of his football team at college and accordingly also a heartthrob.

When he falls in love with the attractive Salina, he blossoms even more. But happiness is short-lived: When Guddu is driving, his head hurts so badly that he has an accident. Salina, who sits next to him, loses her eyesight, and Guddu soon learns why his head hurts so much: he has a brain tumor and will soon die. Guddu, plagued by feelings of guilt, wants to stipulate in his will that Salina will get his eyes after his death - but his father doesn't want this.

With the help of his uncle, Guddu goes to court and fights against his father for his rights. Kavita stands between the two. Then Vikram has a heart attack and Guddu also has to go to the hospital. Kavita prays and fasts for the two of them for days and they recover. But Kavita dies, Salina gets her eyes.

At the end you see the family, with twins, whom Salina baptizes according to the two religions, Krishna and Mohammed.
