Guido Hernán Pizarro Demestri (born February 26, 1990 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football player .

Player career

CA Lanus

Between 2009 and 2013, Guido Pizarro was under contract with CA Lanús . He made his first division debut on November 1, 2009 in the away game against CA River Plate . With CA Lanús he also took part in the Copa Libertadores and the Copa Sudamericana .

UANL Tigres

On July 9, 2013 he moved to Mexico to the UANL Tigres in Monterrey , where he had his first appearance in the Liga MX on August 1, 2013 against Monarcas Morelia . He won two Mexican championships with the Tigres, in the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons . Internationally, he took part in the CONCACAF Champions League with Monterrey .

Sevilla FC

In the summer of 2017, he moved to Sevilla FC for 8.7 million euros . He made his debut in the Primera División on August 19, 2017 in the home game against Espanyol Barcelona .

Argentina national team

Pizarro made his national team debut on March 28, 2017 in the World Cup qualifier against Bolivia , which Argentina lost 2-0.
