Guizhou Hengfeng FC ( traditionally Chinese : 贵州 恒丰 足球 俱乐部) is a professional Chinese football club that currently plays in the highest Chinese league, the Chinese Super League . The association is based in Guiyang , Guizhou . The first team plays its home games at the Guiyang Olympic Sports Center. The stadium has a capacity of 52,888 seats. The current owners of the association are Guizhou Hengfeng Albert Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., Guizhou Zhicheng Enterprise Group Investment Co., Ltd. and the Guizhou Provincial Sports Bureau.
history
On February 18, 2005, the association was established by Guizhou Provincial Sports Bureau and Guizhou Zhicheng Enterprise Group Investment Co., Ltd. taken over and re-established in Chinese football after paying royalties of 600,000 yuan to the Chinese Football Association .
On May 28, 2013 they brought in the Dutch Arie Schans, a foreign coach. With Schans, the team had a bad start to the season with a series of 14 games without a win. This ensured that the club was relegated to the second division.
In the 2014 season, Zhang Jun was brought in as a coach. Jun reached the 3rd place with the team in the second highest Chinese division. Due to the surprising dissolution of the then runner-up in China League One Shenyang Zhongze FC, a promotion spot became available to Guizhou. At the beginning of the 2015 season, Chen Mao was brought in as a coach. With Mao they achieved relegation for the first time in the club's history.
In 2015, Guizhou Hengfeng Albert Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. (贵州 恒丰 伟业 房地产 开发 有限公司) interested in buying the majority of the shares. This was done on January 8, 2016. To draw attention to the new club name Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng FC, a new club crest has been introduced and the color of the home shirt has been changed from green to white.
On April 30, 2017, the Spaniard Gregorio Manzano was hired as a coach. In December 2017, the club changed its name to Guizhou Hengfeng FC
