The China League Two ( Chinese  中国 足球 协会 乙级 联赛 ) is the third highest division in Chinese men's football ; until 1989 it was the second highest division.

mode

The season takes place within a calendar year. The league is divided into a north and a south division, each with ten teams, and each club plays a home and an away game against every other team in its division. The four best teams from each of the two divisions then compete against each other in the play-off system , while the six remaining teams play off places nine to twenty in two-legged matches against those who are tied in the other division. The three-point rule also applies here ; in the event of a tie, the direct comparison decides. The two finalists of the play-offs will be promoted to China League One . There are no relegated members.
