The Gulmen (also Gulme ) is a mountain east of Amden and south of Nesslau in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen . The mountain peak is 1789  m above sea level. M. approximately 2.5 km north of the Arvenbüel. Approx. 1 km to the east is the Vorder Höhi ( 1537  m ), which can be reached via an alpine road. The mountain area is rocky only in a few places.

  • View to the south-west towards the Glarus Alps , Amden and Walensee ; the summit cross does not mark the highest point of the mountain
