Gumpp

Gumpp was an important family of master builders , carpenters , painters and copper engravers from the 16th to 18th centuries in Tyrol . The Gumpphaus in Kiebachgasse in Innsbruck's old town was the family home.

Well-known members of the Gumpp family include:

• Christoph Gumpp the Younger (1600–1672), court carpenter and court architect
• Georg Anton Gumpp (1682–1754), architect
• Ignatius Gumpp (1691–1763), Benedictine, theologian, prior, provost and historian
• Johann Anton Gumpp (1654–1719), painter
• Johann Martin Gumpp the Elder (1643–1729), architect
• Johann Martin Gumpp the Younger (1686–1765), architect
• Johannes Gumpp (1626, 1646), painter
