The Gurlspitze is located in the Salzkammergut mountains , with the pyramidal structure of the municipalities of Elsbethen and Koppl , southern and eastern suburbs of the city of Salzburg , and Ebenau participating . With a height of 1158 m , the mountain is one of the highest peaks of all three communities, with the summit exactly at the border point of Elsbethen, Koppl and Ebenau. A new summit cross and a “first aid kit” with high-proof beverages were erected here in 2003 .
The Gaisberg is located north of the Gurlspitze .
