The Gustav-Johannsen-Skolen (German: Gustav-Johannsen-Schule ) in Flensburg , in the Westliche Höhe district , on the outskirts of the Duburg district . The school is now a community school . It is one of the seven Danish schools in Flensburg. It was named after Gustav Johannsen . The Danish Duborg-Skolen is only eight hundred meters away from the school . The forest school is right next to the school .

history

The school in 1952 was founded by the Danish Schools Association as Danish primary and secondary school . The brick school building was built in 1950 based on a design by the government architect Tete Rieve . In Flensburg, Tete Rieve also created the group of rental houses at Schulze-Delitzsch-Strasse 1-7. Otherwise, only a few building conversions by Tete Rieve in Flensburg are known. In 2008 the school became a community school. Since 2014 the school has been expanded considerably. A large concrete building will be added to the brick complex, which will conceal the transverse building with the clock tower from the line of sight of the forest road . Despite its age, the school is not one of the city's cultural monuments .
