Gustav Adolf Hedblom
Gustav Adolf Hedblom (born November 6, 1898 in Sundsvall , † 1972 ) was a Swedish painter and sculptor .
life and work
Gustav Adolf Hedblom worked in particular in Stuttgart , Berlin and Ascona / Ticino in Switzerland .
Hermann Göring's busts from the time of National Socialism are known. The bust of the newspaper publisher August Madsack , created by Adh Hedblom in 1933 , can be found today (as of May 2014) in the reconstructed counter hall of the Anzeiger high-rise in Hanover. In 1937, 1939 ("Generalfeldmarschall Göring"), 1940 and 1943 ("Prof. Wendling"), Hedblom took part with bronze busts at the Great German Art Exhibitions organized by the National Socialists in Munich.
Hedblom's bust of Johan August Hedberg in the Swedish Hedbergska park in Sundsvall is an art form in public space .
