Gustav Güngerich
Gustav Güngerich (born March 26, 1872 in Butzbach , † March 24, 1945 in Bensheim ) was a German judge .
Life
The son of the evangelical district veterinarian Rudolph Güngerich studied law in Gießen from 1890 and there, like his father, became a member of the Corps Teutonia . In 1898 he received his doctorate in Heidelberg. He passed the legal state exams in 1893 and 1897 with "good" respectively . He became a court assessor in 1898. In 1900 he came to Darmstadt as a district judge in Friedberg. In 1901 he became a public prosecutor at the Mainz Regional Court. There he became a district judge in 1912. In the First World War he was a captain. In 1924 he was promoted to the higher regional judge in Darmstadt. In 1927 he came to the Imperial Court . He was in the III. Criminal Senate active. In 1938 he retired. In 1939 he was reactivated and was in the III. Senate active until 1942.
His son was the classical philologist Rudolf Güngerich .
