Gustav Knörcke

Gustav Knörcke (born July 28, 1836 in Hohen Lübbichow ; † March 31, 1903 ) was a Protestant clergyman and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Knörcke attended high school in Königsberg and studied theology at the University of Berlin . He was active in the school service for a long time and then from 1862 to 1873 Protestant pastor in Dertzow. From 1874 he was a registrar in Zehlendorf and an employee of church and educational magazines.

From 1875 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1890 to 1893, as well as from 1897 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the German Liberal Party and the Liberal People's Party . From 1890 to 1893 he represented the constituency of the Principality of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt as a member of parliament , and from March 24, 1897 to 1903, the constituency of Merseburg 1 (Liebenwerda - Torgau).
