Gustav Leidenroth

Gustav Leidenroth (born August 31, 1885 in Stolberg (Harz) ; † unknown) was a German businessman and politician. From 1933 to 1935 he represented the NSDAP in the National Socialist Reichstag .

Life

Leidenroth came from the Harz region and, according to the information in the Reichstag Handbuch, took part in the First World War from 1914 to 1918 . Around 1922 he worked as a flour wholesaler in Dessau .

Leidenroth joined the NSDAP for the first time in 1923. After the party was temporarily banned, he became a member of the NSDAP again in 1928. Leidenroth was one of the founders of the NSDAP local group in Dessau; from 1929 to 1932 he was chairman of the investigation and arbitration committee in the NSDAP district of Magdeburg-Anhalt . From 1932 to 1933 he represented the party in the Anhalt State Parliament . In November 1933 he was given a seat in the Reichstag. From 1933 he was head of staff in the NSDAP Gauleitung Magdeburg-Anhalt. In Dessau he was head of the city council and member of the plenary assembly of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry , possibly also its second chairman.

Leidenroth was expelled from the NSDAP in 1935. His mandate in the Reichstag was declared invalid on August 27, 1935; Detlef Dern moved up for him . After being excluded from the party, Leidenroth was again a flour wholesaler in Dessau, probably until 1946.
