Gustav von Padberg

Carl Maria Gustav Adolph (von) Padberg (raised to the nobility in 1882; born January 16, 1837 in Münster ; † January 12, 1891 ) was captain of the castle of Gotha and court marshal in Coburg .

Life

The father Adam Gottlieb Carl Padberg (1796–1866) was from Küstelberg , the mother was Marie Luise Busch (1798–1863). The brother Alexander became a councilor in Magdeburg and was also ennobled.

Gustav Padberg married Bertha Luise Fischer (* 1841), an illegitimate daughter of Duke Ernst II of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha . In 1879 he was appointed castle captain in Gotha. In 1882 the Prussian king raised him to the nobility. In 1883 Gustav von Padberg was appointed castle captain in Coburg and provisional court marshal, and later a regular.

Gustav von Padberg was buried on January 19, 1891 at the St. Martini Church in Münster.
