Gustavo Jorge Acosta (born November 22, 1965 in Buenos Aires ) is a former Argentine football player. He was a midfielder and mostly active in the Spanish-speaking world.
career
Gustavo Acosta, born in 1965, began his career at Ferro Carril Oeste , where he played for nine years and won the Argentine championship twice. In 1991 he moved to the German second division club FC St. Pauli , where he played 16 games with three goals in the following season 1991/92 . Then he moved to SV Lurup .
In the later 1990s , Acosta also played in Spain for second division UE Lleida and third division FC Cádiz . He ended his career in 1998 with the Colombian club Independiente Medellín .
