Gwoździany (German Gwosdzian , 1936-1945: Nagelschmieden ) is a village in the municipality of Pawonków in Poland , located in the Powiat Lubliniecki of the Silesian Voivodeship . The border between the Silesian and Opole Voivodeships runs along the district . The place has about 750 inhabitants.

history

A glassworks was founded in 1761 and existed until the beginning of the 19th century. From 1976 to 1978 the old scrap wood church of the village Kościeliska (Kostellitz) , which was built in 1576 and in the 17th / 18th Century was rebuilt after Gwoździany translocated .
