Hahn is part of the local community Dattenberg in the district of Neuwied in northern Rhineland-Palatinate .

Hahn is a very small place with 17 houses, 2 of which were former farms. There is also a church and a rifle house with antique fire engines.

Hahn is at an altitude of 345 m above sea level. NHN, on the ridge between the Rhine and the Wiedtal , in the foothills of the Westerwald . The place is located six km east of the city of Linz on the Rhine and four km west of Roßbach . The distance to the district town of Neuwied is 30 km to the south. In the north, Hähnen borders on St. Katharinen , to the west is the main town of Dattenberg.

Hähnen is connected to Linz am Rhein and Roßbach an der Wied via Landesstraße 256. District road 8 connects the hamlet of Krumscheid , which belongs to Leubsdorf, with Hahn.

Culture and sights

In addition to the church, which was rebuilt in 1963, the annual fair in July is one of Hahn's cultural highlights.
